An unfamilliar face,- lottytheloathed

His expression remained apathic upon seeing the other male. He wasn’t really in a chatty mood-but was he ever? A small nod was given to acknowledge the other’s presence.

It hasn’t even started and it’s all beginning to fall apart

He had been busy for such a long time-work taking up most of it. Truth to be told he was dead tired and if one would look closely than you would see it reflect in his eyes. He decided to visit the only person that actually mend something to him at this very moment, unaware of her current situation.

It didn’t take long to reach her manor-the servants having grown accustomized to him allowed him to enter and whispered to him that the Madame was in the garden. Alone. Running his fingers thru his hair he walked straight towards the garden.  Diederich stopped in tracks when he reached the open doors that would led to the garden, he wanted to walk down the stairs but it was covered in glass shards and drenched in red liquid. Not far away stood Angelina.

“….What is this?” He asked-voice soft but loud enough to be heard.

She jumped as she heard his voice behind her, she wanted to cry to his arms, for reasons she isn’t even sure of.

“A broken bottle of red wine.” She stood up, trying  her best not to collapse. She walked towards him, taking small steps, biting her lower lips. Suddenly her glamorous face is no more, she cannot even find the strength to keep her smiling façade.

She extended her hand towards him, as if to grab for dear life. She managed to curve her lips into a little smile, that bitter smile reserved only for those whom she trusts.

He felt how a small knot seemed to pull his stomach together. She seemed as if she would break at any moment-he had never seen her like this. He took her hand and gently pulled her towards him-into a hug. It was an automatic reaction, he wanted to hold her, make sure that everything would be alright.

“You threw that bottle eh?” He said-already knowing the answer, she was the only one here. Though why she did it remained unknown. He stroked her back in attempts to soothe her. The image of her bitter smile still vivid in his mind.

A Reunion

phantomvincent:

“I think I could do with something a little stronger than tea after the day I have had.” He was grateful that Deiderich had decided not to bother him with questions any more, he was in no mood to discuss what he had been forced to do for the Queen in those past few months. He did not believe for a second that Deiderich was no longer annoyed with him for vanished, and he could not blame him. With some difficulty, he stood up, and made his way over to the drinks cabinet, pouring himself a large glass of whiskey. “Would you like one?”

Diederich sighed a bit as he saw how the Nobleman suffered some difficulty in standing up. It was slightly painful to see in what kind of situation that mission brought Vincent. The Earl was holding himself strong though, like always.

“No, thank you. I am well for tonight…enjoy yourself.” He wasn’t really in the mood to drink now. He rather watch his friend get relaxed-it was obvious that Vincent was slightly on edge.

It hasn’t even started and it’s all beginning to fall apart

madamered-dalles:

She planned a party for everyone, wanting to make a big announcement…but everyone is busy and no one is able to come. She kept her rage in, opting to stay in her garden. She breathed in the fresh air scented with the fragrance of red roses, and her glass for bitter-sweet red wine.

She smiled, but it turned sour, she can’t hold her rage in after all…She threw the wine bottle towards the pillar of the stairs leading up to her house. The sound of the bottle hitting the hard surface bringing an odd calming sensation to her.

She sighed and stared at her glass, wondering if people would still come.

He had been busy for such a long time-work taking up most of it. Truth to be told he was dead tired and if one would look closely than you would see it reflect in his eyes. A Reunion

phantomvincent:

diederich-noble:

He shook his head with a slight frown on his face-not really amused by the Noble’s words as well as the smirk he was wearing. He noticed the cane and raised one eyebrow at him. Seriously, what had Vincent been doing?

“You sure have high hopes Vincent, just look at me, do I look like I am overcome with joy? If not, I am sure that my expression is showing how much I want to strangle you right now.” He moved away from his desk and walked towards and empty chair-sitting down on it as he crossed his legs. “So, now you want to be fancy and walk around with a cane? Or are you again hiding something that happened to you?”

“Strangle me?” He laughed out loud at that little comment, a smooth deep bellow from deep inside him, the chair under him creaking a little as he leaned back. “What a welcome back that would be.” His expression faltered for just moment, a fleeting look of anger sweeping over his face at the question,  but soon his mask was once again placed over his face, and it was almost impossible to tell what his emotions were. “Yes, an unfortunate accident. I am afraid I cannot furnish you with the details.”

That quick look of anger-that appeared and dissapeared so fast on the Noble’s face didn’t go unnoticed. Yet Diederich’s own expression didn’t falter. Always the secrets and as much as he wanted to know there were some things that perhaps would be better if left alone.

“Then I won’t bug you for it.” Was his simple response-seizing up the noble with his eyes. Noting all the little changes in the man’s behaviour. Whatever happened to him in those months stayed with him. Sighing softly he gestured to the tea-pot.

“Can I offer you something to drink then?” Steering the conversation into another direction.
